I have always tended to hide my face from this blog. Every time I wanted to post a picture of myself, it made me feel vulnerable and exposed, so I never did it. But after all this is my personal blog, and I always appreciate it when I see other bloggers faces on their blog. I believe a good blog is one with personality and although it doesn’t necessarily have to include a face, I think it can help ‘identify’ with the author. So I decided that I have to get rid of this insecurity crap and start being friends with myself. It needs courage to finally post a picture of me, but here I am…

I didn’t want to make such a fuss over it and just post this picture of me and my plant. But this is how I feel and I wanted to share my thoughts on this with you. Are you more likely to read a blog if you know the face behind it? Is showing your face on your blog also such a big deal to you or do you think I’m exaggerating? Humble opinions on this subject are much appreciated.

It’s the coldest 23th of March here since 1916. Crazy times! Winter and snow outside but spring inside: my seeds started to grow. In the first picture you can see a teeny-tiny sunflower. How brave that it is growing, the roots even go all the way through the holes in the bottom of the pot.
