scraps of paper

Here is an easy DIY I wanted to share with you: most safety-envelopes from bills and paychecks have very pretty insides. Cut them to pieces and enjoy your new pretty paper-scraps to brighten up letters or to create tiny envelopes for seeds, tea or little treasures. It’s free, it’s fun and it makes getting bills a bit less annoying :^)

Happy mail project (4)

04.2013 • Ishtar Olivera • Southampton, UK

I’m happy to tell you that his year I am part of the Happy Mail Project. In this project 13 creatives from all over the world will write one another a letter every month: 1 letter every month, 12 letters in 12 months. You can follow the whole project on the facebook-page or on the happy-mail-blog.

This month I received a very pretty and colorful letter from Istar. She is one of the founders of the happy mail project. She wrote me about finding little happiness in every day, and this letter definitely was a little happiness in my day!
