2011 juli

bye-bye July

This has been a really fast month! It came and went and I had so much fun. I’m ready for August to be equally much fun!

Here are a few pictures, I promise you that soon I will show you more than only my hands and feet. We’re very busy working in the ‘new’ appartment and I’m getting excited to share the result of this with you all, even though there’s still a long way to go. Soon more about this! I also got some exciting packages in the mail, but I will also tell you more about this later.

Now I’m off to have some pasta all’arrabiata, made with some home-grown chilli’s. Yes, that will be delicious indeed.

I wish you a sunny new week, full of love. Untill soon!

flowers

Look what I got from my this morning! He’s such a lovehead. I was surprised by the kind of flowers he chose, I like them a lot.

Here’s a song by my favourite Norwegian band. My heart is broken by what happened there and pretty songs can help to find comfort.

//**//**//**

This has been a full weekend, it was lovely. I had not much time to take pictures, but here are some stories.

x. I’m in love with Angus and Julia since last friday’s concert. So-so-so pretty. So pretty. So-so pretty.

x. My most colourful plant has some tiny, pretty flowers. I don’t even know if I can call them flowers because of their odd shape. But they are so so incredibly pretty! And they smell a little bit like honey.

x. I recieved another amazing card from Claudia. She made it herself with her handmade stamps, isn’t it pretty? This is her little shop where she sells some of her lovely handmade treasures, it’s really worth to take a look. Thank you so much, darling Claudia! You can see some of the packages and postcards I sent here, here and here. If any of you would also like to exchange adresses, feel free to mail me.

x. The yearly Ghent festivities have begun, a 10 day-long street-festival in the city. My is organising some things again, come by and say hello if you’re around! You can find us on the Kouter :) :) :)

Have a lovely week, darlings!

old and new

Little by little I’m saying goodbye to the house I have been living in for two years now. Some things I’m going to miss are: the wooden floors, the high ceiling, the nice old windows, the bright light coming in and the noises from the street. But I’m looking forward to moving to the new place, which is even more promising than this one. In August we’re starting to smarten up the appartment and as soon as I can I will move in. There will be so much room for all my plants on the big terrace and we agreed that we will adopt a little cat when everything is ready for it. Isn’t that the best thing!?

A song for you:

Fleetwood Mac – Second hand news

Here are some of my plants. They are all doing very well. I’m looking forward to giving them all a perfect spot so they will become prettier than ever.
