We had a big storm yesterday evening, after a few days of tropical temperatures. I think thunderstorms are cosy ✤ I love it when my ♥ dances while he’s cooking, I made him this note so he wouldn’t forget. It says ‘keep on dancing, please’ ✤ Today the weather was bright again. Love-love-love to put on this song when the sun is shining in the morning ✤ The packing has begun. I’m making boxes to keep and boxes to sell on a fleamarket ✤ While packing, I organised my stash of wool. People know that I love to get their left-overs. The lovely basket is a birthday-present ✤ I was taking care of my plants today and although I have a darling friend who will take care of them when I’m off, my heart aches when I think I will have to leave them alone for a week. A bit silly, isn’t it?

I’ll be back in a week with hopefully a lot of adventures to tell you!

Thank you all for the many birthday-wishes. It was a lovely day with a lot of cake, balloons and presents.

My boy and I are planning a trip to Amsterdam next week. It’s our first time we go there, so it would be great to know where to eat, what to see and where to drink the best coffee. I allready found this list for vintage shopping, but I guess there must be better options on the food-part. Any recommendations on more things to do?

Hello everybody! Thank you for your nice reaction on my boy’s t-shirt, from now on I will be proud instead of shy when he is wearing it :) Here are some pictures I took during the weekend. The weather is quite rainy here in tiny Belgium, so we stayed indoors most of the time — this obviously also causes my blog-overload last days.

Another basket full of groceries, extra much this week because there’s an oversupply in supermarkets, caused by the EHEC-panic. We don’t panic, we’re happy! ● The potherbs have lovely colours ● Chopped it to put in a delicious lasagna, jummy! ● Baked a big carrotcake — my ♥‘s favourite — and we shared it with friends. Shared cake tastes so much better ● Saved a plant from a lonely, waterless summer in art-school, I’ll make him pretty and proud again ● Made packages to send to some of you ● Recieved a lovely card from Indra— Thank you so much sweet-sweet Indra, I really liked it to find this colourful painting in my mailbox… Don’t forget to send me your adress!
