I promised you to post a picture of the bright-coloured scarf I knitted. Well, here it is…

And here are some more pictures, made by the happy owner.

Here are some images of my weekend. Since it rained a lot, we stayed inside most of the time. We have a new bed and it has to ‘breathe’ for 72 hours before sleeping on it, so untill then we moved the old matress down and camp in the kitchen. Cosy!

Another lovely plant

Look how fast the paprikas are growing!

Have a very good start of the week!
Makes me happy:
- I got a job offer this morning and I sent in my cv, so fingers crossed that I’ll get some good news soon. It’s in the lovely store where I did a temporary job during the Christmas-period. I really like working there and besides that, it’s about time that I make myself usefull again. I have been doing ‘nothing’ since I stopped studying photography, which was three months ago now.
- This morning I ordered tickets for Sufjan Stevens’ concert and I’m so incredibly happy. Next week is my ♥’s birthday, and we agreed I would buy him a ticket to the show as a gift for his birthday. We had to call for half an hour before we got into the ticket service, but we’re going! I’m so looking forward to this! I share my favourite song from Sufjan Stevens with you. We used to have a cat that was named Casimir Pulaski, after the song. Unfortunately, he got run over by a car when he was still very young, we shouldn’t have chosen such a sad song to name him after, I guess… Altough he was definitely as pretty as this song.

Today I’m doing some crochet, just little experiments. I have a little hole in one of my favourite dresses and I might try to cover it up with a little, subtle doily. But first I should find the pattern and colour that fit best with the dress. Also, I got some pots for my plants to be ready when spring is here. Yesterday I got basil-seeds from Véro, who thought my basil looked really sad last time she was at my place (she’s right, it looked horrible). So soon I’ll plant these too.

Oh – and, as you can see, I used one of the fabrics as a nap on my desk. I think it looks good. I don’t know what I’m going to make with the other fabrics yet, but I love to have a whole pile of fabric to chose from whenever I want to make something, so whenever I see some pretty fabrics I add them to that pile.
I wish you a lovely weekend!
I’m in love with these new fabrics. Soft colours this time.
