I’m totally in love with Joanna Newsom. I’m a big fan of her since her first album came out in 2004. I can not stop listening to her songs, and even though the lyrics are very hard to decipher, I can sing them all by hard ( not as pretty as she sings them, offcourse). Also, I’ve seen two live-shows of her, and I twice fell in love with the girl and her big harp. And she’s so pretty!

This song is from her latest album, have one on me. It must be one of my favourites, but I have plenty of favourites.

museum

Yesterday I went to Brussels with some friends to visit the exhibition of Francis Alÿs in Wiels. It was so much fun! I really liked it (not everything in the exhibition though, but in combination with friends it was great).

I bought some really nice postcards in the museumshop. Postcards are part of my things-to-collect(-and-maybe-send-to-someone) and so I always have to buy some whenever they cross my path. So pretty!

(Never mind the crappy looks of the little table. It is really pretty, but I should give it a make-over one day. Maybe when I move out… Yes, I should do that, it deserves a better treatement.)

peperomia

I bought a little plant yesterday, I really, really love plants. I immediatly fell in love with this peperomia the moment I saw him. He was the last one of his kind in the shop, perhaps because he looked a bit bruised. Luckily for him, this couldn’t stop me from loving him and so I brought him home with me. Today I took care of him, gave him a new pot, removed his bruised leaves and gave him fresh water. Look how proud he is now!
